Where Are You Going?

This piece reimagines the European ‘No Through Road’ sign as a powerful social critique.

Drawing on traditional ASCII-style art, the medium becomes the message. - The sign is completely drawn with the word 'Consumerism'. While the white background is composed completely of layered '$' symbols. The dripping effect—a recurring theme in my artwork—makes direct reference to climate change. This piece serves as a bold statement on modern culture, climate change and the direction of our society and asks a simple question: is the path we are on a road to somewhere, or a dead end?

This piece is a follow up piece to 'Wrong Way’ which uses similar ideas and composition.
