Wrong Way?
This piece reimagines the recognizable everyday ‘U’ turn road sign as a powerful social critique.
Drawing on traditional ASCII-style art, the medium becomes the message. - The sign is completely drawn with the word 'Consumerism'. While the white background is composed completely of layered '$' symbols. The dripping effect—a recurring theme in my artwork—makes direct reference to climate change. It questions if we are on the right course for our planet or if we are perhaps lost. Should we turn back?
